A 4-week, structured program that focuses on a functional, comprehensive movement-screening process, coached by Trish Arends, DPT.
In this program we will differentiate between proper and poor movement patterns. We’ll describe, score and interpret your movement patterns through a Functional Range Assessment (FRA) and understand how the results can have an impact on not only your running, but daily life. By the end of the program, you will be well-versed in how to put these movements into practice in your weekly training strategy for the rest of your life.
The 4-week program includes:
3 Video Consultations: We will begin with an initial 1-hour video assessment to determine poor movement patterns and dysfunctional movement, and put them in a hierarchy of importance. Shortly after, we’ll have another 1-hour video consultation, where you’ll be prescribed a custom Primary Strength and Mobility Program and guided through how and when to perform your prescribed program with instruction. Lastly, you’ll have a final call two weeks later to check-in, receive feedback, and be prescribed a Secondary Accessory Strength and Mobility Program to address your secondary movement needs. We will discuss how to implement both the Primary and Accessory Programs into your on-going training.
Education: Learn why to implement changes and how the body operates with the signals it is given.
Customized Action Plan: We design a unique action plan based on your specific situation and targeted to your specific movement challenges.
Tools: Guided action plan. We will provide you with guided instruction via video and mindfulness cues that help put it all together.
Trish is a physical therapist by trade and an ultramarathoner. Over the years of working in the clinic, she began to notice the lack of treatment of the person as a whole. She became invested in continuing education that targeted the whole body, including the fascial system. Her background is based in Functional Range Systems, which focuses on opening up capacity and strengthening all the joints in the body through their full range of motion. She also owns her own practice, Movement Rewired LLC, where she treats the fascial system through a technique called Myofascial Acupuncture, combined with mobility and strength training through Functional Range Conditioning. She lives in Boise, Idaho.
Trish has teamed up with GoBroncoBilly Coaching to offer a 4-week, structured program focusing on a functional, comprehensive movement-screening process. Trish will describe, score and interpret your movement patterns through a Functional Range Assessment to help you understand how the results can have an impact on not only your running, but your daily life. By the end of the program, you will be well-versed in how to put these movements into practice in your weekly training strategy.
